Devils Highway Prelim. Report |
Border Patrol gives us trail advice
Now that we have been back for a few days the phone has been raining, the emails have been pinging and folks want to know about our first of the Desert Solitude Series and our adventure on the Devils Highway. We started with rain darkened sky's that became sunny and clear, mud soaked trails that became deep sandy trenches and impassable sections that well, stayed impassible.
We are working on putting the full story together for some magazines but for now we can at least give some hints of how great our time in the desert was.
The weather broke enough by Saturday morning to give our participant a chance to play.

The nights were typical of the winter in the desert, clear, cold and spectacular.
 Relaxing with cigars and friends
And the trail provided history, scenery and plenty of challenges.
The WAVE cruising past a grave.
Watch for some video clips to be added here soon and we will get the full story out to you before too much longer |
