 Corbin saying his bit On a recent bright and sunny Saturday morning Disabled Explorers joined with a group of motorcycle riders, a 4wd Tour Company owner and the Tonto National Forest to film a series of Public Service Announcements regarding the upcoming new Travel Management Plan for the area.
We are doing our best to be a part of the Public Commentary Phase of each National Forest’s TMP as it is released. However this was the first time we were ask to help create the messages that will go out by TV & the web once the final plan for TNF is put into place. We stressed on film that people prepare before they leave by getting a copy of the new Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) and by calling ahead to check for seasonal closures.
 Lance talking and talking and talking It was a great learning experience for us and a new way to work with land managers. Most interesting to me was the behind the scenes conversations we had regarding the need to get more public involvement in the process before the Plans are finished. Please check with your local National Forest as to the status of their TMP and let your voice be heard.
