This place is stunning, amazing, and incredible, more adjectives than I can come up with in my awe. With grants from a number of foundations, trusts and groups a new place for the disabled community to gather, get information and recreated is now open. Many large and small non-profits are already in place and helping those in need. The conference rooms, classrooms, computer lab and more are all designed to meet the needs of the handicapped community.
Just one of the many groups helping people
We toured their recent open house event and the place really is impressive. Future plans even call for a recreation center with a variety of sports options.
Corbin was fun to watch as he seemed to know a large number of people present while the rest of us kept walking around pointing at cool design features.
 The courtyard with a cafe
For us this facility represents a great place to present to support groups since one of the conference rooms has a parking space just outside the door. What a great way to show some slides then invite everyone out to check out a rig. In addition each of the non-profits groups who have offices at D.E.C. can help reach more folks who might be interested in backcountry adventure.
Great folks makings things happen here.
We hope to show you many more great events from D.E.C. and with the folks we meet there.
Here is a link to the ABIL site with more info.
